The origin of Co-Logistics lies in 1997, when Mark Coenen decided to support the European LLP project at Ford Motor Company. After a career of 7 years in the position of regional General Manager Northern Europe, Mark switched onto NYK Logistics to develop the concept of carrier management and procurement.

As Senior Manager European Transport, Customs and Forwarding for NYK Logistics in Belgium Mark leaded the new central transport department and gradually got responsible for carrying out other projects; Cummins as new 3PL project, Northern European alliances between Germany and the Netherlands, Network change for European distribution Konica Minolta Color printers.
